bury the hatchet : 무기를 거두다(화해하다)
to end a conflict or argument and become friendly again
to make peace

ex. Couldn't we bury the hatchet?

우리 화해할 수 없을까?

I want them to bury the hatchet.

pan out : (특정 방식으로)전개되다(진행되다)
to turn out well; to happen
to be successful

no longer involved in a situation
departed or dead

ex. I've been out of the picture for weeks.

to work less intensely or less hard than is requried
to be lazy (usually at work or school)
slacker : 게으름뱅이

ex. People tend to slack off, and the quality of the work is unacceptable.

Most people hate Monday mornings cuz they always slack off.
