: 겁을 먹고 (-을) 그만두다 (-에서 꽁무니를 빼다)
to not do something because of fear

ex. Sensing things wouldn't be in his favor, he started to chicken out.

to eat a lot of food
(* 목적어가 함께 쓰일 때 on 과 함께 사용됨)

ex. You pig out on pizza.

You can pig out on it as much as you want, but be careful.

to play roughly or foolishly
