off putting : 정이 안 가는, 좋아하기 힘든
not pleasing or likable, causing you to feel dislike of someone or something

 

ex. Yet again, I find this company very off putting.

하지만 다시금, 이 회사가 정말로 정이 안 가요.

The plethora of ads on TV is off putting from time to time.

TV에 나오는 다량의 광고가 때로는 정이 가질 않습니다.

Being reticent in the debate can be regard as an off putting attitude.

토론에서 과묵하는 것은 정이 가지 않는 태도로 여겨질 수 있습니다.

 

 

 

cool headed : 냉철한
not easily excited, able to think and act in a calm way

 

ex. Looking at reality with cool headed perspective will be just what helps you to be a leader.

냉철한 관점으로 현실을 바라보는 것이야 말로 당신이 지도자가 되는데 도움이 될겁니다.

Now is the time to make a cool headed decision.

냉정한 결정을 내려야 할 시기입니다.

How can you remain so cool-headed like that in this shitty situation?

엿같은 상황에서도 어쩜 그렇게 냉철함을 유지할 수가 있어?

 

 

 

spook : 유령, 귀신 / 스파이, 첩자 / (사람, 동물 등을)겁먹게 하다, 겁먹다
scare or frighten (a person or animal)
become frightened

 

ex. I have no idea why she intends to spook me.

나를 왜 겁줄 작정인지 도통 모르겠어요.

His preoccupation with money is what spooks her.

돈에대한 그의 집착이 그녀를 무섭게 합니다.

Hey, do you really want me to spook you?

이봐, 정말 제가 당신을 겁주길 바라는거예요?

I reckon you guys're barking up the wrong tree. cuz I am not a spook you were looking for.
